Paid Mural Painting Opportunity

DEADLINE IS FAST APPROACHING!

Nextfest is embarking on a new initiative to create a permanent 12’x20′ mural that will be installed on 124 Street. There is an opportunity for a young artist to join a mentor in the creation of the mural. This is a paid opportunity.

The chosen artist will work with the mentor to develop a design for the mural which will be painted and installed prior to the festival. The collaborative design and painting of the mural will happen May 15 – 30. The chosen artist must have a flexible schedule during this time.

Submission Deadline: May 12

Submitting artists do not need mural experience, but large format work is an asset. To submit, please e-mail:

• a bio
• a possible mural theme
• 5 examples of your work as JPEGs (include image details). The examples of work should show a consistent style.
