Nextfest 2023: Call for Festival Image Artist
Are you a digital artist, illustrator, painter, or just love doodling in the margins of your notebooks? Nextfest 2023 needs you!
Nextfest is known for its amazing festival designs, and we’re looking for the newest addition to represent the next generation of artists.
Nextfest is searching for an emerging visual artist to develop the 2023 festival image. This illustration will be used on all of the Nextfest marketing materials, including the program guide, website, and print ads.
The Festival Image Artist will work with the Festival Director and Graphic Designer to create the image. Note: This is an application process, not a final draft submission.
Nextfest is an emerging arts festival and as such supports the work of artists in the first 10 years of their practice. No experience is required, only passion and creativity. This position is ideal for someone studying or working in illustration, graphic design, or fine arts.
We celebrate emerging creativity, so we look for something different and unique each year. Examples of past festival images, created by local talents, are at the bottom of this posting.
The Festival Image Artist selected for 2023 will be compensated with a $600 honorarium.
