Nextfest is an annual multi-disciplinary emerging arts festival, including visual arts, dance, theatre, music and film. This year, #yegfilm is working with Nextfest to curate the film component, and is looking for submissions. Nextfest takes place from June 4-14, 2015.

We are looking for new and original films created by emerging artists.

The following selection criteria are guidelines, not strict requirements. Please feel free to submit if you have a project you are proud of:
– The artist is under 30 years of age
– The artist has undertaken some form of initial training in their field
– The artist has not yet achieved professional affiliation in their field
– The film is new and original in some facet
– The film was completed within the last three years

Additional information:
– Entering a submission does not guarantee selection.
– You may enter more than one film.
– The personal information entered below will only be used to contact the submitter for additional information if required, and to notify the submitter that the project has been selected for screening at the festival.
– The film submission call ends at 8AM MST on May 4, 2015.
– Successful submitters will be contacted between May 4 and May 11, 2015.
