Stephanie Bahniuk is entering her fourth year of the Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre Design program at the University of Alberta. Last year she was the costume designer for The Woman in the Red Dress (directed by Holly Cinnamon) at Nextfest and she is thrilled about the opportunity to be involved with Dancefest this year as the lighting designer. Stephanie is also a member of the Ukrainian Shumka Dancers and has toured internationally and throughout Canada with the company. This summer she will be taking on an Assistant Costume Designer position at Williamstown Theatre Festival in Massachusetts. Recent credits include costume design for Arabian Nights (Williamstown Theatre Festival-Directing Assistant Projects), 2^nd Assistant Costume Designer for Johnny Baseball (Williamstown Theatre Festival), Wardrobe Head for Bridges of Madison County (Williamstown Theatre Festival), lighting design for Much Ado About Nothing (Media Room Theatre), set design for Ironmistress (Media Room Theatre) and Assistant to the Costume Designer for Blood Wedding (Studio Theatre).
