Perry Gratton

Perry is an actor, director, and graphic designer from Edmonton, AB, Canada. He graduated with a BFA in Acting as well as most of a BA in Drama from the University of Alberta. Selected acting credits include Don Pedro in Much Ado About Nothing, Guiderius in Cymbeline, Limping Man in Fuddy Meers, Sebastien in Twelfth Night, Sam in Drunk Enough to Say I Love You?, and Oberon/Theseus in Midsummer Night’s Dream. He has appeared in numerous plays at the Edmonton International Fringe Festival and Nextfest Emerging Artist Festival. Perry recently produced his own art show, Gratitude, at the Artery, which showcased over 100 pieces of his work. Looking forward, he is directing a new production, Letter to Laura by Elisa Benzer, for San Diego and Edmonton Fringe festivals. He owes most of everything he loves to his involvement at Nextfest. This year’s festival images are part of Perry’s series Gratitude. Check it out in the lobby of The Roxy Theatre. Perry is also directing The Premonition of Jesse and Joan as part of the Spoken Word Spotlight, and appearing in The Body in “A Series of Shorts” as part of Theatre at Nextfest.
