Natalie Lauchlan
Natalie Lauchlan’s 501 reveals an original and consistent vision of time and space. Eschewing traditional storytelling and opting for an associative, surrealist methodology, Natalie achieves a sublime lyrical quality in her own work. Natalie is a Calgary-based emerging artist. She received her BFA in Craft and Emerging Media from the Alberta College of Art and Design in 2014. Through the connection with space, words, and with self; her work exists both in the present and in the past, a reflection inwards to oneself and a projection outwards to the world, a cooperation between cyclical and stagnant, between time and memory.
