Kelsey Vaughan is currently participating in Nextfest 2017 and being exhibited in the Old Strathcona Library. She spent two years at MacEwan University studying Fine Arts before transferring to the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design to finish her Bachelors. Currently, in her fourth year of her degree, she has begun exploring and developing more specific concepts in her art. Her most current works focus on the female figure’s relationship colour and the field. She explores the relationship between classical and contemporary treatments of the female form. Confrontation 1, 2 & 3 are the beginnings of a further developed concept which examines the intention of female power and sexuality.
