Kasie Campbell
Kasie Campbell is a visual artist working in Edmonton, Alberta. Campbell focuses on integrating a variety of media including sculpture, installation, new media and performance and will be exhibiting her work in Bonnie Doon Shopping Centre for NextFest as part of the Gallery Exhibition. She has earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree at the University of Alberta. In June 2015, Campbell was a recipient of the International Sculpture Centre’s Outstanding Student Achievement Award in Contemporary Sculpture, nominated by Royden Mills. Her sculpture was shipped to Grounds For Sculpture south of New York City and is now being exhibited at MANA Contemporary in Jersey City, NJ. In fall of 2015, Campbell completed her first Transitory public art piece, collaborating with first year art students at Keyano College for the Ignight Festival in Fort McMurray AB. More recently, Campbell completed her first Solo Exhibition in April 2016 at Creative Practices Institute in Edmonton, AB.
