Jane Alison is thrilled to be performing in her own work in Evolve from June 5-7 as part of Dancefest at Nextfest. Born in Saint John, New Brunswick, Jane Alison is a four-time recipient of the artsnb Scholarship and a graduate of The School of Toronto Dance Theatre. In 2012, she performed in Bibliotecca del Corpo by Ismael Ivo in Italy and Brazil. She also co-produced and performed in Fantasies and Other Poisons, choreographed by Sharon B. Moore. Independently she has worked with Andrew Hartley, Kate Hilliard, Emma Kerson, Meagan O’Shea, Lucy Rupert and Rondos Dance Theatre. In 2013 she founded Wild Rabbit Dance Projects, which has presented work in Toronto and the Maritimes. In 2014-2015 she was the Series 8:08 Creator’s Space resident artist.
