Good Women Dance Collective (GWDC) has been the curator of Dancefest@Nextfest since 2013 and we are thrilled to be a part of the Nextfest family for a fourth year! GWDC is a creation-based company committed to helping create a vibrant and sustainable contemporary dance community in Edmonton. Since its foundation in 2009, the collective has been focused on creating and producing innovative new works, as well as offering performance, education and professional development opportunities to artists working in Edmonton. GWDC artists have benefitted from their own formative experiences at Nextfest, and are excited to continue supporting the next generation of dance artists.
