Connor Yuzwenko-Martin produced NextFest’s ASL vlog for welcoming the Deaf community into the festival this year. He holds a lifelong passion for theatre and accessibility, and you’d be hard-pressed to find him working on one part without the other. Recently, Connor was the Deaf Consultant for Concrete Theatre’s ASL opera Songs My Mother Never Sung Me (2019). Connor supports various theatres and organizations in improving their engagement with the Deaf community through consultations and creating subtitled vlogs in ASL with transcripts and visual description. Connor is humbled and grateful to accomplish his work on Treaty 6 Territory. Tatawaw.
