Anastasia Maywood is an independent dancer and choreographer living in Edmonton. She is presenting her newest work, Memory Folds, in Dancefest (Fusion program). She holds a BA Honors (Drama) from University of Alberta, Edmonton and an MFA in Choreography from York University, Toronto. Anastasia has had work presented in Toronto, Edmonton and Calgary, including Diffused Light, Exuvia, ROYGBIV/MAGENTA, The Lines I Draw/Confine Myself In, Spinneret and Spinneret Balloons. Recently, Anastasia performed in Tatiana Cheladyn’s, The Feeling of Not Being Empty, as part of the Expanse Movements Arts Festival.
